Primary and secondary school teachers, practitioners

engage in multicultural education for children.
3-5 countries including Fiji, Hong Kong, Mongolia,
Papua New Guinea, Philippines , Sri Lanka,
Thailand, East Timor, Vietnam will be connected
per module.

US, China, Hong Kong, etc.

The World Bank Tokyo Development
Learning Center (TDLC) has developed a Teachers Training Course to accompany KIDS INITIATIVE, a multicultural education program
for children using videoconference. The instructor plays
a vital role in conducting a successful KIDS session, providing guidance to
children from planning to delivery. The Training
Course has been created with advice from international experts and is designed to enhance instructional skills with a focus on the
effective use of videoconference.
The Training Course consists of four 3-hour modules and
includes a videoconference lecture, discussion, case studies and assignments. Participants from 3-5 countries
will be connected for each module, providing an opportunity for experts and instructors to exchange
information across borders.
